Europa-Tour Programm

May  31st    FINLAND (Eurotour begins this sunday)

We will meet in Turku, the check in time is 12.00 – 16.00. The Viking Line ferry will take us to Sweden. The departure time of the ferry is at  21.00. Dinner buffet. The first night we´ll spend in cosy cabins on the ferry.

June 1st     SWEDEN, DENMARK

The journey starts from Stockholm early in the morning – at 7:00 local time. We’ll drive  through Sweden by bus and in the evening we’ll be in Copenhagen in Denmark. This evening we´ll also visit the famous Tivoli.

June 2nd    DENMARK, GERMANY

                 In the morning we´ll have a  sightseeing tour on our buses with local guides.In the afternoon we´ll drive south to Germany and overnight in Bremen, Germany.

June 3rd     GERMANY, NETHERLANDS

From Bremen we’ll drive west to Netherlands. On our way to Amsterdam we’ll visit a clog and cheese factory in the famous Edam area (Volendam) . In the evening we´ll have a guided waterbus tour through the main canals and we´ll see  Anne Frank museum. The night will be spend in a hotel near Amsterdam.

June 4th     NETHERLANDS, BELGIUM, FRANCE

                 We’ll drive through Belgium and stop for a few hours in Brussels, where the European Parliament is located.

In the evening we’ll come to Paris, France.

June 5th     Paris/ FRANCE

In the morning we’ll visit Versailles. After that a sightseeing tour in Paris.

You will also have time to visit the Eiffel tower.

June 6th     Paris/ FRANCE

This day is for you to spend on your own in Paris. It’s up to you whether you want to visit Louvre and/or d’Orsay art museums, the Montmartre area or even the Euro Disneyworld. You get lunch money.

June 7th     Southern FRANCE (sunday)

It is time to leave Paris and drive south. The landscape changes to forests and hills. Our next stop is in Grenoble, a small town in the French Alps, famous for the Winter Olympics in 1968.

June 8th     Southern FRANCE

We’ll start again early in the morning and head for Cannes. We’ll drive over the Maritime Alps and on our tour we’ll stop in a couple of medieval towns. Just before arriving in Cannes, we’ll have a short stop in the town of Grasse, to visit a perfume factory. Cannes is situated on the coast of the Mediterrenean Sea.

June 9th     MONACO

We will make a trip to Monte Carlo in the Principality of Monaco. Unfortunately you can’t play roulette or baccarat. (We have a guide with us 9.00 – 15.00). Before returning to Cannes, we’ll stop at Nice.

 

June 10th   ITALY

Now we’ll be saying goodbye to Cannes, but not to the Mediterranean Sea. We’ll start heading for Venice, Italy. We will drive through Northern Italy and have a few hours stop in Verona. Remembering Romeo and Juliet, you can have a photo taken of yourself on Juliet’s balcony. Our destination is Lido di Jesolo, which is a small holiday town (Lido = beach, that tells everything you need to know about the town).

June11th    Venice + Lido Di Jesolo/ ITALY

We’ll visit the old city of Venice, have a tour in a glass factory and take a gondola ride. Later on the afternoon we’ll go back to Lido and there will be time for resting and relaxing at the beach.

June12th    Lido Di Jesolo/ ITALY

Holiday on the beach. There will be a lot of time for you to spend in Aqualandia.

June13th    ITALY

This is our turning point, becauce we’ll now head back to the north. We’ll drive to the Dolomites (Alps in Italy). Our hotel is in Bellamonte. This afternoon we´ll have a quided hike in the Alps.

June 14th   ITALY, AUSTRIA, GERMANY (sunday)

We´ll drive towards Innsbruck, where we´ll have a break and get to know the city. From Innsbruck we’ll continue to Garmish-Partenkirchen, Germany. It is a small village in the Bavarian Alps. There we’ll have a dinner in Bavarian style with local music and dancing. We´ll spend the night in Nürnberg,  Germany.

June 15th   GERMANY

It´s a long long way  - when driving toward Berlin.

June 16th   GERMANY, DENMARK, SWEDEN

We’ll have a sightseeing-tour in Berlin and after that there will be some free time to spend in this historical, but modern European city. In the afternoon we’ll drive up to Denmark and Sweden.  The night we´ll sleep in  Helsingborg, Sweden.

June 17th   SWEDEN

This is our last day together. We’ll drive through Southern Sweden (a candy factory at Gränna) to Stockholm. We´ll have a short sightseeing-tour and some free time in the Old town. We´ll get in to a ferry and have a  dinner just before that in Stockholm. The departure time of the ferry is at 20.10 (local time).

June 18th   FINLAND

In Turku at 8:00 am. You take a train or a bus from the harbour or you´ll be taken to the stations. And then you take your trip back to your host families. It is time for goodbyes and tears, unfortunate, but true.

    Aber hört sich interessant an.

    Besonders viel Spaß wünsche ich beim "dinner in Bavarian Style" (Schweinsbraten) "with local Music" (Trachtenkapelle Garmisch) "and dancing" (Schuhplattlern)
